Can I buy a modified version of a seed mix?

Yes, you can! Please reach out to us before buying so I can see if I can accommodate your requests. If you know your hamsters don't like certain ingredients (i.e. shrimps or crickets), we can either substitute or omit ingredients. However, we cannot formulate a completely new seed mix because that takes a lot of time.

Do I need to feed your seed mix with supplemental pellets?

All of our seed mixes are properly calculated and balanced, which means that you do not need additional pellets. However, if you don't feel comfortable with that, you can always supplement our mixes with Mazuri Rat & Mouse Lab Blocks.

Can I do expedited shipping?

Yes, please reach out to us before buying so that I can give you an accurate estimate of how much more it would cost! Usually, it is an extra ~5 for Priority Mail (guaranteed 1-3 days delivery).

Why is shipping so expensive?

Unfortunately, I do not control shipping prices—USPS does. Trust me, if I could, I would definitely make it as cheap as possible. But because our items can weigh up to three pounds—depending on what and how much you order—it is pretty reasonably priced. I choose the cheapest shipping rate to ensure that it is affordable for everyone.

Why is my package stuck in "pre-transit?"

This typically just means that USPS hasn't scanned your package or hasn't updated your tracking. I've seen packages that have been stuck in pre-transit for a couple days, then it suddenly jumps to being at one's local USPS distribution center. If you are not sure, please do not hesitate to contact us!
