This oval Locking jump ring secures jewelry components without soldering. The distinctive locking function holds charms and other jewelry components without the risk of either a bent jump ring or heat damage from the soldering process.
Made with 20 gauge wire, 4.6x6mm , to be used with 2 pliers to fit ends together and push into each other and fold down to lock.. you have to line it up perfectly, don't force it.. takes a little practice but once you get it pushed in then you can lock it into place.. I love these, makes my life much easier.. last pic shows how I make a permanent bracelet with two of these rings and a centerpiece

Link Locks are easy to use and close securely to protect charms, pendants and other dangles.

1. Hook the items being joined onto the Link Lock. Orient them so that the opening in the Link Lock is toward the back of the findings.

2. With a pair of pliers, gently squeeze the curved ends of the Link Lock to close the opening in the side of the Link Lock. HINT: if it is lined up exactly it will slide right in, don't force it, this means it isn't lined up perfectly, realign and try again..

3. Again using the pliers, squeeze the lock mechanism to lock the Link Lock closed.
