This Beautiful Snowman Ornament is the perfect Christmas Decoration. The snowman body is made from Maple with a Paduak nose and milliput inlay for the buttons and eyes. The top hat has its own unique character with its quirky shape and made from exotic Olive Wood.

This product is handmade: the wood had been turned on a lathe, carved and sanded to give this finished product.

This piece has several finishing stages. Firstly, a sealant is pushed into the grain, this stabilises the wood and gives strong, long-lasting protection. Secondly a fine grit mixture is applied including mineral oil, lemon oil, beeswax, rotten stone, and pumice, giving a velvety smooth finish. Finally, a finish of Odie's Oil is used, protecting against fingerprints and water splashes. Odie’s Oil is a food safe, solvent free, non-toxic wood finish and stabiliser.
