Difference between genuine leather and artificial leather:
1. Hand feel If the surface of the leather is smooth by hand (the grain is processed into a thick leather), the soft, plump and elastic feeling is the real leather.
2. Visual observation is mainly used to identify the type of leather and the quality of the leather grain. Observe that the surface of the dermis has obvious pores and patterns. There are dermis fibers on the back of the skin. Although synthetic leather also imitates pores, it is not realistic and unclear. In addition, there is a layer of textile on the reverse side of synthetic leather as the bottom plate.
3. The smell of ignited leather is similar to that of hair ignited, and it does not form lumps after burning. It can be ground into powder with fingers. Artificial leather emits a pungent odor when ignited, and it forms lumps after burning.

Item arrived on time. I was looking for a rustic, genuine hand-made leather button. The picture shows the edges a little roughed up and natural looking which I liked. When the buttons arrived they were coated and smooth looking. I ran my fingernail around the edges and the leather roughed up perfectly.

Courier company useless. Package would have fitted in letterbox, and parcel notice sitting on the driveway blowing in the wind. And item was delivered to a petrol station, and pick up token not received from courier company.
