I first created this hoodie because I wanted to be a “forest bear” at Disneyland. Now it’s my go-to cozy cosplay for conventions!

Difficulty: beginner - intermediate
This pattern fits me (5’2” human) loosely so it’s like an adult small-medium. It’s crocheted with bulky size 6 yarn and mainly uses double crochets. It works up pretty quickly! This hoodie is very cozy and perfect for the cooler weather :)

Really enjoyed this project! This is my second ever crochet project, my first was a vest. It was so fun to make, i listened to an audiobook and got it done in 2 days. I altered the pattern because as a mid size girl with broad shoulders the initial outcome was a little too tight for my liking (I more than likely did something wrong lol) but I’m so so happy with the final result!! I ended up not closing the bottom part of the hood and instead of overlapping the scarf pieces I connected them at the very end of one and the side of the other. My hood is a lot more open but that’s my preference, I love how easy it was to figure that out. Now to make an Ewok hood for the other Ewoks!!! Also a tip: I definitely recommend buying faux fur Pom Poms to use for the ears. I got mine from Hobby Lobby and they even have a little loop.

Finished crocheting this piece pretty quickly. Instructions were clear and pattern was easy. The hardest part was trying to find the fur for the ears that I liked but other than that amazing pattern!
