Breathtaking 19th century old church banner with a beloved picture of Mother Mary and Child Baby Jesus .
A antique heavenly blue church flag with a painted oval image of Mary with child.
This original religious banner would have been carried upon a tall mast for processions and within the church as decoration.
The entire banner , and oval medallion are trimmed with gold ribbon and accentuated metal fringes at the bottom.
The banner is very decorative, nice for collectors of handmade religious art, or for a spiritual touch to your home,
and for window dressers a wonderful eye-cather for Christmas.
The fabric , oval image and metal fringes are in used condition, some stars need to be reattached and three are missing.
