Do you accept returns?

Yes. If a print arrives damaged, or the color or crop isn't what you expected, message me within 14 days of delivery and I'll reprint it or refund you. In almost every case you won't need to ship anything back — a photo of the problem is enough. I'd rather have the print on your wall than the money.

Do you ship internationally?

The United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Shipping is free to all three. I'm not currently set up for the EU — if you're elsewhere, message me before ordering and I'll tell you honestly whether I can get it to you.

What sizes and materials can I get?

Sizes run from 4x6 up to 40x60. Materials are canvas (0.75" or 1.5" depth), photo paper, framed print, metal (matte or glossy with a float mount), acrylic, canvas with a premium frame, and jigsaw puzzles from 48 up to 2000 pieces. Each listing's dropdowns show what's available for that photo, and the full size list per material is at the bottom of every description.

How do I pick a size for my wall?

Measure the wall space first, then work back. Above a sofa or a bed, a print that covers roughly two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks right — for a standard sofa that's a 30x40 or 24x36. For a hallway, an entry, or beside a door, 16x20 or 16x24 sits better. If you're unsure, message me the wall measurements and what's around it and I'll tell you what I'd hang there.

How long until it arrives?

Everything is printed when you order it. I send your file to the lab usually within a day, the lab takes a few days to print and pack, and shipping is a few more. Most US orders land within a week of ordering. The delivery estimate on the listing is the one to trust — it accounts for the material you picked, since a metal print takes longer than photo paper.

Who actually prints these?

I shoot and edit every photo, then send the finished file to a professional print lab that produces and ships it. I don't hold stock — printing to order is how you get 4x6 through 40x60 across seven materials from one photographer. The labs I work with are listed on my shop's About page.

Can I get a frame, finish, or size that isn’t listed?

Usually, yes. Photo prints come with a lustre finish as standard and I can switch them to glossy or metallic at no extra charge — just message me. Framed prints come with a black matte frame, and vintage silver, white, walnut flair, and oak vintage flair are all available. Metal comes matte as standard, other finishes on request. If you want a size that isn't in the dropdown, ask — I can quote almost anything up to 60".

Can I order a photo I saw on your Instagram?

Yes, and please ask. I shoot far more than I list. If you saw something on @galsteinberg that isn't in the shop, message me the photo and I'll add a listing for it, usually the same day.

Are these real photographs?

Yes. Every image in this shop is a photograph I took, at a real place, on a real night or morning. Many are multi-frame blends or stacks — bracketed exposures merged, or several frames stacked to clean up noise on the astro shots — which is standard landscape technique and how I get the scene to look the way it looked to me standing there. None of it is AI-generated and none of it is stock.

Can I cancel or change my order?

I can't accept cancellations once an order is placed, because I usually send the file to the lab within a day and pay for the print at that point. But message me the moment you realize something's wrong — if I haven't sent it yet, I'll happily fix the size, material, or address. If it's already gone to the lab, tell me anyway and we'll sort it out when it arrives.
