Beautiful lace crocheted shawl pattern that brings to mind the cool mornings here in the Ozarks and how comfy it is to wrap up in a nice shawl to keep away the morning chill. In the first photo of the listing, the shawl was made using Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock Mediumweight, which is a sportweight wool yarn. The third photo is this same shawl. Look how lovely it drapes using this yarn. This shawl took two skeins of the Socks That Rock.
In the second photo, with both of the model's arms outspread, the shawl was made using Red Heart Eco-Cotton Blend, which is 75% recycled cotton and 25 % acrylic. This is a worsted weight yarn and these are much smaller skeins, so it took 5 skeins to make the shawl.
I have had four Testers working with me to "bullet proof" the pattern, and each one has used different yarns. All of the results are lovely. As the photos come in from the Testers, I will be editing to add them to this listing. Right now, the shawls are either blocking or awaiting sunny weather to obtain good photographs for me.
Care has been taken with the pattern to show close up photo detail for the various stitches used to complete the pattern. My Testers helped me work up the pattern so it would be easy for even newer crocheters to read and understand. The pattern contains many photos and clear written instructions.
