This cross stitch pattern of the Angel Moroni is large but fairly simple to make. However, stitching with gold embroidery floss can be difficult. The finished size is 2.29 x 5.07 inches. The cross stitched pictured is one I made for my scripture bag. It is made with gold embroidery floss on black 14 count Aida fabric.

I came up with this design in 2012 because I had purchased a plain black bag and I wanted to make it look like it was meant to be a scripture bag. So I came up with this cross stitch design. After I completed my cross stitch on the black fabric, I then sewed it on to my bag. I also enjoy when other church members admire my handiwork. This pattern does take some time to complete so you'll probably want to keep it for yourself. But it also makes a great gift for family members, church friends, visiting teaching companions, visiting teaching sisters, missionaries, new members, and pretty much anyone who is LDS.
