PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY TO AVOID CONFUSION!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON DEADLINES! I am currently booked until the end of February 2025. If you order now, your jumper will be ready by the end of March 2025.
This is a reproduction of a 1940s jumper from the British magazine Bestway. It features all the best elements of 1940s knits: striking pointy shoulders and a chevron stripe pattern, which was intended to help the wartime knitter use up smaller quantities of yarn.
I offer 2 options: short sleeve (see the black-and-white pattern photo) and long-sleeve (see my version).
COMPOSITION: The jumper is knitted in alpaca wool. Other yarn options are available if you cannot find a specific color you're looking for or would prefer a different fiber composition.
CHOOSING COLORS:
Etsy doesn't allow me enough variation options here, so please choose the main and the contrast (the one that forms the chevron pattern at the top) colors from the screenshots of the yarn range and specify them by shade number and name in the Personalization section.
SIZING:
Please refer to the size chart in the listing photos.
If you cannot find a size that fits you in the chart, please choose the "Custom measurements" option and send me a message with your exact measurements.
If you know that the standard sizes usually do not fit one of your measurements (for example, just your bicep circumference or just your shoulder-to-waist length), please specify that measurement in the Personalization section.
