Materials Needed:
- Worsted Weight Yarn ( I used 100% cotton, but other fibers can be substituted)
-- Exact brand & colors are provided
- Crochet Hook: G/6/4.00mm
- Candy Canes

Skill Level:
- Easy

Construction:
This crochet candy cane holder is constructed by crocheting a few small pieces and then assembling them. First, you'll make the gingerbread person's body. Make 1 or 2 bodies, depending on how thick you want it to be. The body is worked in rows from the bottom up. Next, you'll add ric rac trim to the body. Then, you'll add buttons for a boy or crochet a dress for a girl. Lastly, you'll embroider easy eyes and a mouth. Instructions are included for optional eyelashes, cheeks, and a hair bow.

Terminology:
- All of my patterns are written in English using standard American terms.
