Prebuilt Modified Casio F-91W with Backlight Spreader and LED Replacement, Engraved Caseback

Complete modified Casio F91-W or similar watch, ready to wear, perfect for gifting!
- Backlight spreader: This modification spreads out the backlight, illuminating the entire screen more evenly. It does not involve adding a second LED so this mod will not shorten battery life.
- LED swap: Change the LED colour of the backlight. This will slightly reduce battery life but greatly boost the brightness of the backlight.
- Filters: Convert the lcd to negative, or add a colour gel filter in front of the LCD.
- Engraving: The caseback can be CNC engraved to personalize the watch and make it a special gift!
- Other mods can be done such as negative LCD conversion, adding luminous material, having the mods done on another model of watch, etc.

- Armitron Rubik 40/8474 BKSV (black and silver): This is the level 2 mod install involving back reflector replacement to make the entire screen evenly lit. Engraving on the Rubik caseback is not possible.

LED swap (+L): The original LED will be desoldered and a new LED will be soldered on. Possible colours:
Red / Pink / Orange / Yellow / Emerald-Green (high brightness green) / Blue / Ice-Blue (blue+white) / Violet / Purple / White (~6500K) / Warm-White (~2700K).
Engraving (+E): message me what you wish to write on the caseback and the font you want. A photo of the stock caseback has been included on this listing for your reference.
Filter(+F): Negative LCD conversion, colour LCD positive/negative conversion, flat colour gels are available immediately. Colour gradient filters can be ordered, at additional build processing time. Application of multiple filters will cost more.

Other details:
- ESR film backing can be used to produce the brightest backlight with an illusion of depth in the LCD (brightness will change depending on viewing angle), or you may elect to have a paper backing to create a more evenly illuminated backlight, or phosphorescent luminous backing to be able to read the watch in the dark without using the light button. If you do not specify in the personalization text box, I will choose whichever I feel is best for your build.
- Luminous backing is glow-in-the-dark material, and the glow will produce a readable display without backlight for about 1 hour after charging up. Beyond 1 hour, the display will be too dim to make out the digits. Choosing a blue LED will charge up the lume backing when activated (like "afterglow") so you can fully operate the watch in the dark for a time without needing to further press the light button.
- Negative LCD mod will produce low contrast on module 593, because the digit segments are very thin. It will look better on module 590 (found in Casio W59).
