This listing is for a mid century modern minty condition set of PY anthropomorphic flower cabbage rose jam jar/pot with spoon, salt and pepper shakers and a tray or plate. Made in Japan, they are straight from the 1950's with their ever so cute smiling faces which will add a touch of whimsy to your table setting or as a collectible for your hutch. Would make a nice gift for those who collect PY ceramics.
The salt and pepper shakers measure 2.5"T x 1.75"W and come with their original stoppers. There is a fleabite that has been touched up (see photo #5) and a slight manufacturing imperfection that is under color and glaze that looks like a nick but it is not (see photo #4.) The jam jar measures 3"T (including the finial) x 2.5"W and comes with what I believe is the original spoon. It has "Farmers Market, Hollywood Calif" on the top and I do not see any nicks, chips or cracks. The tray/plate measures 5.5" across and I see no nicks, chips or cracks. Has the original sticker that says "Hand Painted Coronet Japan". All of the pieces have the PY Japan on the bottom.
