Seller's description

Specifications

May include: A set of vintage hand-painted mirror place cards in a cardboard box. Each rectangular mirror is decorated with colorful floral designs. The box reads "HAND PAINTED MIRROR PLACE CARDS" and "FOR PERPETUAL USE".

The hand painted mirror place cards are in nice 1940's-1950's vintage condition. They come in the original box which has discoloration and spots overall. It has 2 companies on the box. The one is printed on and reads: E.T. Nash Mdse. Co., NYC and the other is a label reading: Gifts, Jones Bros., Oneida, NY. I saw one corner on one of the place cards that has a shallow chip but I didn't notice any others. They are missing the little plastic stands that would hold the place cards upright. The set of 8 place cards have hand painted flowers on one end. There is a matte strip in which to write the names of the people playing or dining. The mirrors show their age with some dark dots/spots scattered overall and the silvering looks streaked and not as reflective as they once were. The flowers are just slightly worn and I didn't see any major color loss. The place cards measure 3 1/2 in. long by 1 1/4 in. wide.

I am happy to combine shipping if you are interested in other items. Please contact me with your selections, as well as your zip code, and I will promptly get back to you with an accurate shipping cost. The standard blurb that Etsy puts on my page about automatic combined shipping cost in cart is not true for my shop other than for small, lightweight items.
