Why am I asked for my phone number when making a purchase?

Parcel services ask me to provide them with your phone number to facilitate delivery and avoid any problems. It is important that you provide it. Your number will not be used for any other purpose and I do not keep a database of my clients' telephone numbers. Without a phone number it will not be possible for me to manage the shipping labels, so if I do not receive a response, I would have to cancel the order.

In order to provide you with the best and fastest service, we have chosen the parcel services that have shown us the greatest reliability and quality. Therefore, your package will be sent by: Express Mail- for Spain DHL- for the rest of the world Shipping restrictions The parcel services I work with do not allow me to ship to locations they deem "hard to reach," military installations, or post office boxes. If this is your case, I will change the service to normal mail. This may delay the delivery of your items. In any case, I will notify you of the situation and I will always send you the tracking number.

When making my payment, in addition to the item and shipping, they made me an extra charge. Why?
