Upgrade your Fluval Spec III & Spec V tank with this shrimp and betta kit. The Water Werks' Spec V kit has a filter box, light riser, bypass plug, water control valve, and spray bar or waterfall outlet. The filter and bypass plug prevents your shrimp and fish fry from getting into the filter area, and the exposed filter material gives your shrimp a place to find a meal. The water control valve allows you to adjust the water flow and can be connected to an outlet of your choice. Choose a spray bar, waterfall, or underwater flute for your purchase. Finally, use the light riser to lift the light out of the way for easier feeding and tank maintenance. Simply slide the 3” riser on the tank and secure the light. This package is ideal for tanks with betta, shrimp, and other slow swimmers, as you can control the water flow and surface disruption and protect them from the filters.

This kits does not work with the Fluval Betta aquarium.

Most lights will work well with the 2" and 3" lifts. 4" and up are best used with large floating plants, potatoes, pothos, and for assisting you to get the look you are trying to achieve. Keep in mind your PAR (Photosynthetic Active Radiation) will go down the farther you lift the light.

The height is based on the distance the light will be above the aquarium lip. The height is not the height of the stand.
