Will this fit my light?

These stands are very light-specific. Please read the description or contact me for assistance. There are multiple Fluval, Hygger, and Finnex stands available. If you chose the incorrect stand, we can make an exchange, but you will be responsible for shipping costs.

What height should I order.

Most lights will work well with the 2" and 3" lifts. 4" and up are best used with large floating plants, potatoes, pothos, and for assisting you to get the look you are trying to achieve. Keep in mind your PAR (Photosynthetic Active Radiation) will go down the farther you lift the light. The height is based on the distance the light will be above the aquarium lip. The height is not the height of the stand.

Will this work on rimless tanks?

Yes, the stands sit on the rim, similar to the original light base. Both the light and stand have an L-shaped base that rests on the rim. Contact me if you have an acrylic cover and the light cannot sit on the lip. I can print a base without the L shape allowing it to sit flat on the top of the tank.
