ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This #4 in a series of 13. 🌕 The full Moon of April is the "Pink Moon", named so for the Wild Ground Phlox flowers that are known to cover the ground like a thick pink blanket. Some other names for the April full Moon include: FISH MOON – as fish tend to be plentiful during this time; EGG MOON – as birds start to lay eggs in plenty; SPROUTING GRASS MOON – as the Spring ground sprouts grass.
