These clean burning, plant-based candles are hand-made with a natural coconut/soy wax blend and without added colorants. The wax is made with USA-grown soybeans and is manufactured in the USA. The wick is a flat braided cotton wick with paper threads woven into the cotton, free from lead and zinc. The fragrance is made from clean fragrance oils and essential oils. I specifically choose clean fragrance oils that are free from phthalates, carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins and acute toxins. All ingredients are biodegradable and vegan. Candles are hand-poured into reusable/recyclable black tins (tinplate).

Notes: Fir Needle - Cypress - Pine - Cedar - Moss - Earth - Bayberry

Includes the following essential oils: Fir needle balsam, cedarwood, western red cedar, cedar leaf, pine, eucalyptus, patchouli, clove leaf, ginger, spearmint, mint, juniper, sweet orange, lemon, vetiver, and guaiac wood.


Why choose coconut/soy wax candles?
-Cleaner Burning: Coconut and soy wax candles burn more cleanly than paraffin candles. They produce less soot and release fewer toxins into the air, contributing to better indoor air quality and reducing potential respiratory irritations.

-Longer Burn Time: Coconut and soy waxes typically have a slower burning rate than paraffin, leading to longer-lasting candles. This quality makes them more cost-effective in the long run.

-Biodegradability: Coconut and soy waxes are biodegradable, meaning they break down naturally over time, posing fewer environmental concerns compared to paraffin, which is not biodegradable.

-Scent Throw: Natural waxes have the ability to hold fragrances well, providing a good "scent throw" when the candle is burning. They often disperse essential oils or fragrance oils more effectively than paraffin.

-Renewable Resources: The production of coconut and soy waxes relies on renewable agricultural crops (coconuts and soybeans), supporting sustainable farming practices and reducing dependency on non-renewable petroleum-based resources.

-Reduced Carbon Footprint: The cultivation and processing of coconut and soy waxes typically have a lower carbon footprint compared to the petroleum-based manufacturing process of paraffin wax.


Shipping note:
Your product will arrive in a compostable mailer or a cardboard box. Certain items may be shrink wrapped for your safety. The product will be wrapped in bubble wrap or cardboard for cushioning during transit. I reuse packaging materials such as bubble wrap, plastic bags and cardboard from wholesale ingredient orders I have received in order to reduce waste.


Gift wrapping:
If you choose the gift wrapping option your product will arrive in a box filled with kraft crinkle paper. Your gift items will be displayed atop the crinkle paper upon opening the box from the top. Smaller gifts may be packaged in a black velvet pouch and sent in a composable mailer. Any accompanying cards and a handwritten thank you note will be stored inside a handmade origami envelope. Why does the top of the wax look “frosty” or “rough/ bumpy” after my candle cools post burning?
Don’t worry! This is a normal and natural feature of soy wax caused by crystallization due to the inconsistent cooling rate of the melted wax pool. The appearance does not negatively impact the function of the candle in any way. It's just an interesting and authentic feature of this natural wax blend.


Burning Instructions:
Trim wick to 1/4" before lighting. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings, Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn candle for more than four hours at a time. Do not leave a burning candle unattended. Stop use when only 1/4" of wax remains.


Storage:
Store in a cool, dark place away from sunlight, heat and moisture. To extend the fragrance life of your candle, store it with the lid on and/or in an enclosed container. The consistent temperature of the room should range between 50 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit, erring on the cooler side with low humidity. Warmer temperatures will cause the candle to sweat and separate from the fragrance. Keeping candles in the dark prevents sunlight from oxidizing the fragrance and wax. Oxidation can cause both the scent and the color of the candle to change over time. The same applies for most products containing waxes, butters, oils and fragrances.


Caution:
Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets.
