I'm enjoying this brass. It's not too stiff like some. I'm happy with the patina after an hour in a liver of sulfur solution. If I want more contrast I might have to either paint the gel straight onto the piece or leave it in solution overnight because it's not all copper. The 28 gauge was wound a bit irregularly which is encouraging snarls, so I am going to wind it onto an easy bobbin thing. Overall it's fun to work with.
