What if my package is delayed/lost in transit or stolen?

Clausen Co. is not liable for packages that are delayed in transit, lost by the shipping carrier, or stolen-- all circumstances which are beyond our control. Once we hand your item over to the shipping carrier it is their responsibility to deliver the item-- please contact the shipping carrier directly regarding delays or lost packages. If you suspect mail theft you can obtain the GPS coordinates of the last scan point from the shipping carrier and file a mail theft report with your local police department.

If a sale starts after I place my order will you refund the difference?

The price paid is the price of the item at the time of your order. For example, if the item is in a 10% off sale a week after you order we do not go back and refund all previous customers that 10% off amount.

How long will it take for my item to be delivered?

While we work extremely hard to expedite each order, we are not like other major online businesses. We are a small family-run business where each item we offer is unique and made to order. Each item has its own expected time for production and shipping times which vary depending on the delivery location. Weather and holidays may also impact these times as well. Once an item is shipped you will receive a tracking number where you can watch your items progress. On average notwithstanding the above, you should expect to see your item within 10-15 business days.

What if my item is returned to the sender/seller after it's shipped?

If a customer's order is returned to the sender/seller for ANY reason the customer is responsible for paying for re-shipment.

What if the colors are different from the pictures?

While our production methods aim for the closest color matching possible, due to the nature of digital images compared to real-life, colors may vary and may become more muted depending on the printing surface. Expect fabric surfaces to have more muted tones while other surfaces may only see slight variances from that in the images depicted.

Do you accept returns, alterations or exchanges after delivery?

As each item is custom-made, we're unable to accept returns, exchanges, or make alterations post-delivery. To ensure your item meets your expectations, please share any specific requests via our messaging platform during the ordering process. Your preferences are important to us, but we can only cater to them if they are clearly communicated in your message. Rest assured, we are committed to doing our utmost to honor your requests!

My order did not reach me on time. Can I return it for a refund?

Transit times, including during the holiday season, can sometimes experience delays with all our shipping carriers. While tracking may provide an estimated delivery date, we cannot guarantee that shipments will arrive by a specific date. Instances of significant delays and unscanned shipments, despite being shipped, have occurred. Rest assured, you will receive your order, but we are unable to guarantee the exact timeline. As such, we cannot offer refunds or cancel orders due to shipping delays. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these matters. Please note, returns are not accepted for shipping delays. We strive to work closely with you but ultimately do not have control over the shipping process.

Do you offer refunds?

There are no refunds or returns on any item. If an item breaks in shipment we have insured its value up to $100 and you can submit the claim to USPS online to have that insurance amount sent to you as a check in the mail. If you would like more than $100 of insurance please let us know at the time of purchase. Note that when submitting an insurance claim **You MUST have photos of the item and the box/packaging and you must retain the box/packaging to take to the post office if proof of damage is required. Shipping insurance MAY also require that the customer take the damaged item to a waste yard for disposal and obtain proof of disposal. **Note that any damage must be reported to our shop within 48 hours of the package arriving.
