Beautiful piece! Easy to put together! I was a little worried when I saw there were no predrilled holes to help place the base properly but it was fine. The electric standing desk and built in outlet works well. Very happy with my purchase.
A good table with compromises. The good: 1. The wood itself looks great. They did a good job with the stain 2. The desk feels solid. 1.5 inch thick just feels good. The nitpicky: The bottom half planks are noticeably darker than the top. The bad: 1. The slab bought exceeds the advertised max size of provided desk frame. 72 inches compared to a max supported length of 63 2. The boards joined together are not properly flush. Both on: a. The boards have a gap between themselves of up to 3.3 mm, which doesn't sound large but is noticeable. b. The top and bottom layers will sometimes have the bottom layer equal/slightly "behind" the top, and at others jutting out by 1.1 mm, again not much but you can't cleanly run your hand around it. 3. Out of characters but other small things.
