Materials: terra cotta clay, Non toxic glaze

A terracotta pot to hold your garlic while waiting to be added to that special dish! The pot has been wheel thrown with holes cut out randomly around the pot. A non-toxic frosty matte black glaze has been applied to the lid and dripped around the holes on the pot. The contrast between the glaze and the terracotta clay makes for an interesting, unique design. The remainder of the pot is left bare to absorb the extra humidity in air to keep your garlic fresh! The pot measures 4" x 3" and will easily hold a full head of garlic, or more if you separate the cloves, which I like to do, so they are ready to use when you are!

The garlic is for demonstration purposes only, and not included with the sale. It's been fired to cone 04 or 1960º. Due to the porous nature of the bare clay, I recommend a warm water rinse for cleaning.
