This unique pair of Long Pointed Oval Drop Earrings has been hand made by me, from Polymer Clay, coloured metallic leaf and biodegradable micro gliitter. The polymer element of each earring was domed with resin to give a high shine finish to the front. The back of the earrings is also patterned and topped with resin so it too has a high shine. The polymer clay element is topped by glass beads, and hung on an ear wire attachment.

These earrings swing beautifully when worn, and shine as they catch the light. Perfect for adding glamour to your day wear, and when they start to reflect night time lights, they come into their own of an evening.

The long pointed polymer clay ovals are approximately 5 x 1.5 cm, (2 x 0.6inches), with the total drop for each earring being approximately 7.5cm (3 inches).

The fish hook and findings are silver plated.

Yes to both question. The Polymer Clay canes, once warmed, as per the instructions they arrive to you with, can be fitted around blank pen barrels. Once baked, according to the Manufacturer's instructions, They can either be sanded and polished, or, if you are an experienced Lathe user, turned on a lathe. I try to ensure that all my tutorials, unless I express otherwise, are suitable for beginners upwards. I include in one of the PDF Downloads tips and instructions for beginners on the basics of working with Polymer Clay. I hope that these will be sufficient to tell you all you need to know, but suggest that you contact me if you need to know anything else specific to the tutorial you have purchased.

There are many used for unbaked canes. Normally, after warming them gently with body heat for a bout 20 minutes, people take thin slices from the cane to lay together to form patterns.
