Our natural ocean sponges have been sustainably sourced and harvested from the Mediterranean Sea. This organic sea origin gives them their well-known strength and density. They are fully environmentally friendly due to being renewable, biodegradable and naturally sustainable. Uses for these eco sponges include cleansing, exfoliating, massaging, bathing, art and crafts, painting and watercolours.

Unlike regular synthetic sponges and shower puffs, these large natural sponges for bathing are unbleached and entirely free from chemicals. This ensures they retain their natural colourings, remain in their natural state and last longer without disintegrating. Each sponge is fitted with a natural jute string for easy hanging, keeping them clean and out of the way when not in use.

Caring for Your Sea Sponge

Simply rinse with clean water after use, squeeze out excess water and hang to dry before you are ready to use again.
To help revitalise your sea sponge and extend its life, you may also wish to clean it from time to time. To do so, mix a tablespoon of baking soda in a bowl of water and allow the sponge to soak for 15 minutes. Then rinse with clean water and allow to dry before you are ready to use again.

Please note: This is a 100% natural product from the Mediterranean Sea and therefore may contain natural particles from the sea floor. Whilst we try our utmost to ensure these are removed, please wash and rinse your new sponge thoroughly before first use, squeeze to remove excess water and hang to dry using the fitted hanging cord.
