Sewing is truly a luxury when you use one of these handmade velvet pincushions, filled with 100 percent emery mineral to sharpen pins and needles. This pincushion is 4" wide, 2" high and have more than 1 lb emery sand in it.

Emery is a very hard rock and mixed with other species of mineral, it becomes extremely abrasive. Every time you stick your needle or pin into an emery pincushion, it cleans it of the natural oils in your fingers and any impurities in your cloth. It also sharpens the very tip of your needle, making your work quicker and easier on your hands. It doesn't move around and it's great to work with it. The best thing about my Velvet Pincushions are there won't be any needle holes in time and it'll look brand new all the time. Very chic, very unique. It's very heavy! You can even use like paper weight.

It has an inner cover so emery sand doesn't leak out in time and decorated with a rhinestone button.
