From the new streaming series Percy Jackson and the Olympians, this is the magical pen (Riptide) that transforms into a sword. A great cosplay accessory.

The sword is split into 4 pieces for easy shipping:
Blade Tip
Blade Base
Handle
Pommel

Fully assembled the sword is 765mm (30 inches) long. Kit includes 1/8" diameter x 2" (3.2mm x 50mm) and 2.4mm diameter x 14mm pins for assembly alignment and strength at the joints.

The 3D printed sections will need to be glued together with CA glue or other similar adhesives, using the joint features for alignment. The PLA plastic can also be sanded and painted if you would like to add additional details or color.

I would recommend that the sword only be used for display or cosplay. 3D prints are sturdy but are not strong enough for dueling or active sword play swings.

2nds option = Not all prints come off the 3D printer with good quality. Issues like over extrusion, layer shifts, improper cooling, filament change. That leaves parts that are structurally ok but, have surface finish issues that will need some additional sanding and filler putty to make them look nice. So if you are willing to do a little more finishing work and save some money this option is for you. The last image is of the second items.
