Unique vintage blazer by French designer Lolita Lempicka. The women's jacket has a very tailored cut, the shoulders are emphasized with shoulder pads. It probably comes from the 1989 collection. The dark blue tone and the large gold-colored metal buttons with an anchor motif give it a marine look. The elegant patches are a special highlight; they are embroidered with gold bouillon and are distributed over both sleeves. The largest is on the left chest and imitates a classic coat of arms motif, but in the middle there is a woman's body. The women's blazer is lined and has two front pockets and one breast pocket. It is a so-called double-breasted jacket.

THE STORY:
Lolita Lempicka was already sewing clothes for her Barbie dolls when she was six years old. At 17, she began studying fashion design at Studio Berçot in Paris. In 1983 she showed her first collection and in 1984 she opened her boutique "Nostalgia" in Paris. In the same year she showed her collection in Japan and in 1987 began a collaboration with the Japanese Onward Kashiyama group. Further collaborations followed with Cacharel (1987 - 1990) and in the 1990s with La Redoute, Trois Suisses and Monoprix in 2007 followed by Etam and in 2012 she designed a capsule collection for the sustainability label Ekyog. In 1997 she launched her first perfume. Today the “Lolita Lempicka” brand only sells perfume.
Her fashion has often been described as pert, gamine, nostalgic, playful, with a particularly strong 1940s influence. Lempicka placed great emphasis on the use of careful details and the finest materials. She is known for her precise and exquisitely cut tailored suits that are never sharp-edged but gently flatter the wearer. Her look is very French and she was one of the first designers in France in the 80s to promote femininity on a classic basis in her fashion.
