These are high-end samples using premium studio gear. 127 presets from bank B of the Raoland Se02 analog synthesizer. The sample pack consists of about 30 plucks and 100 leads. It is the same sound engine as the studio electronics se1x and the atc1. All samples recorded through a high-end preamp/eq and other killer studio gear. Our sample sound quality, impact, and warmth are the absolute best in the business. Recorded in 24 bit 48khz, which is very rare in sample packs. Mac or PC, vst, vst3, au, and aax. All samples are available as Akai mpc expansion packs as keygroups (live,live 2,one, x, all modern mpc's, MPC plugin, MPC desktop software, MPC Beats), and available as a plugin for your daw (decent sampler plugin running in any daw). Decent Sampler is a simple keyboard plugin that will load these sample programs that you can play with a midi keyboard, pads, or program on grid. They are all assigned to the correct keys already so you just load and go. Supports vst, vst3, au, and aax - windows or mac. Instructions are included with the sample pack, you don't need anything else except your daw or mpc.

Instructions - There are 3 different versions: MPC expansion file, MPC expansion folder, and a Decent Sampler sample program. Please read the directions first before you download or install. You probably don't need all 3 versions - they are all duplicate samples.

OUR SAMPLE STORY

Our samples came about due to the lack of really powerful and fantastic-sounding samples on the market. I have purchased several sample packs over the years and most of the time they just sounded boring and uninspired. I also couldn't find any samples recorded at 24 bit/48 khz, they were all 16 bit 44.1khz. I am a perfectionist and want the best sound possible, and 24 bit 48khz is far superior to 16 bit 44.1khz.

As time went on and I got into the science of recording, understanding the importance of quality preamps, analog gear, and conversion I realized why those samples never really did anything for me. They were recorded mostly on "home" studio gear that sounded fine, ok, but not great. Home recording gear is fine, and I'm glad people have all those options. But when I buy a sample pack I want something that sounds like it was recorded through really cool recording gear and sounds better than just running a synth into an interface.

This has inspired me to start sampling and creating synth keygroups through incredible recording gear, that adds that extra sparkle and liveliness that I love. I take many more samples per preset than most sample pack companies. I use high-end tube and solid state preamps, compressors, and eq (just a touch), and record through industry-leading Burl mothership or Neumann MT48. No other sample sets I'm aware of go to this extreme length to capture the high fidelity, warmth, thickness, and impact I provide.
