I was blessed with a great deal on Corian and similiar brand solid surface acrylic, commonly used for countertops. By its nature, it is antimicrobial, resistant to UV sunlight, and water proof. It's perfect for diy and home workshops because it can be cut and sanded with the usual wood working tools most handy households already own.
PLEASE NOTE: This listing is not a finished product but material rough cut to the size you choose from the options. The edges can be sharp so handle with care. Also, there may be some remnants of protective plastic on one side. This can be removed with a razor and any remains or color transfer can be sanded off. There may also be minor scratches which can also be sanded out.
Corian and the like are usually hard to come by as the manufactures sell direct only to qualified installers, usually at a cost of $40 to $65 a sq foot. My stock comes from those installers that either went out of business or have more pieces they can store after the job is complete so my cost is much less than the original retail value.
I have more than I can use in several years, so, I'm offering up cut-to-box size to be used by others. Lots of things can be made from them, including the key rings shown in the last photo, trays, cutting boards, cell phone or tablet stands, pens, knife handles, necklace pendants, rings, and ear rings.
Whites and grays I use the most of for my other projects and are the colors I have the least of, so they will cost more than the other colors. Let me pick out and assortment of colors for the best price. I cut them a little less than the size of the box to allow for some interior cushioning (see the images for sizing). They are all 12mm or 1/2" thick depending on the brand.
Just about all my pieces have speckling and are not a solid single color, though I do have some limited solid whites.
Shipping is included in the cost and ships domestically in the US only.
Square foot per box (approximate):
Small: .7 sq ft
Medium: 5 sq ft
Large: 7 sq ft
If you want a different dimension, just ask. Pricing will be based on the total square feet, color, and your zip code.
Corian can be cut, routed, and sanded using the same tools you use for working wood. And surface scratches can be sanded and polished out.
