This is a real solid bronze double-sided handmade pendant with antique finish. The pendant is the same on both sides, it is not flat, with deep details. The pendant symbolizes both the Wheel of Dharma and Samsara.

The pendant is 1.2 inches (30 mm) in diameter. The pendant is ox-finished for an antique look and comes on a brown waxed cotton cord.

The Wheel of Dharma, or Dharmachakra, or the Wheel of Life, is a symbol representing the Dharma, the Buddha's teachings on the path to enlightenment. Dharma is the "path of righteousness," the path of "worthy," or "correct" conduct. The various religious traditions of India are seen as many variations on what is considered a life of purity and goodness. The Dharmachakra is one of the oldest known Buddhist symbols found in Indian art and is recognized as a symbol of Buddhism throughout the world.

Samsara or Sangsara (Sanskrit: संसार) in Tibetan called 'khor ba, meaning "continuous flow", is a recurring cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth (reincarnation) in Hinduism, Buddhism, Bon, Jainism, Taoism and yoga. The concept of samsara is closely related to the belief that a person continues to be born and reborn in various spheres in the form of a person, animal or other creature (depending on karma). The etymology and origin of Samsara means "merging into oneself," constantly wandering, passing through states of existence.

For bronze and silver items it's best to clean with a polishing cloth or jewelry cleaner which will give them a shine. But for those who like a more authentic look and feel for their jewelry which develops patina overtime, there are really no special care instructions.
