The jacket is very stretchy and will probably fit even longer

The jacket is knitted in garter stitch with a beautiful cable pattern and a box pleat with an embroidered "bar" in the back, cable pattern in the fronts and on the sleeves.
Two knitted-in side pockets in the front add a stylish touch to the jacket.
The traditional jacket is very warm and cuddly thanks to the pure virgin wool, but still easy to care for as it is machine washable.

This jacket goes perfectly with leather trousers, but it also looks very stylish with jeans. Your little one is sure to turn heads in this jacket.

The instructions are only in German.

What you should be able to do: knit and purl stitches, twisted stitches, slip stitches together, yarn overs, buttonholes, increasing and binding off stitches, knitting cables, but actually everything is very well described in the instructions. I've also explained the box pleat in great detail.

I think this pattern is manageable even for less experienced knitters. This pattern isn't suitable for beginners.

Materials required
I knitted with Drops Karisma yarn. I used 450g of the main color and 100g of the contrast color. The yarn is pure new wool and has a yardage of 50g = 100m and a gauge of...
of 21 stitches x 28 rows (10 x 10 cm).
Of course, you can also use a different wool in any color that has the same gauge and requires the same needle size.
You will also need a circular knitting needle size 4.5, a cable needle size 4.5, a crochet hook size 4.5, a stitch marker and a tapestry needle, as well as 6 buttons of your choice (approx. 2 cm in diameter).
