What to know

This is a beautiful, one of a kind, collector grade cabochon of Lucin Variscite from Utah. Variscite is a unique phosphate mineral similar to turquoise that can be cut into gemstones. This variscite is from an old mine near Lucin, Utah and the deposit it came from was mined out over 50 years ago. It is not to be confused with the famous Fairfield variscite mine in Utah, which is also had green variscite but it comes with other colored gray and yellow minerals. This is very old stock that we purchased in the 1970's and it is becoming rare.

Size: 17.3mm x 34.5mm; 5.4mm thick
