This lovely Memorial Slate is the perfect way to keep the memory of a loved one who has passed close to your heart. I do send a proof so you can get an idea of what the final product will look like as your satisfaction is my #1 goal.

OPTIONAL MESSAGE ON THE BACK OF YOUR SLATE

Make your memorial slate even more meaningful by adding a personal message to the back. This is a wonderful way to include a note to the gift recipient, special dates, remembrance details, a short sentiment, or other information you would like them to keep with the slate.

Messages are printed in white and may contain up to 300 characters, including spaces. Please enter your message exactly as you would like it printed when ordering.

PLEASE NOTE: Our slates are individually hand-cut from natural stone. Unlike the finished front of the slate, the back is left in its natural state and is not a perfectly smooth or uniform printing surface. Natural variations in texture, minor imperfections, and variations in black or gray-black coloring are normal and may even occur in different areas of the same slate. These characteristics are part of the natural stone and are not considered defects.

Because this is an optional add-on to the memorial slate, in the unlikely event that we are unable to provide the message on the back as ordered, or your slate is inadvertently produced without the back message, the cost paid for the back-message add-on will be refunded. The completed slate itself will not be replaced or refunded solely because the optional back message was not included.

If the slate is being sent directly to a gift recipient, we will also be happy to mail them a printed card containing your message at no additional charge upon request.

Please review your back message carefully before submitting your order. Your message may be formatted as needed to best fit the available printing area but the message will be exactly what was submitted when ordering.

Slates are a natural, hand cut material. The thickness and the way the slate is cut may vary slightly. Because of this possibility, the colors in a photo on one slate may look moderately different on another slate. The slate may also have modest differences in the way the white coating appears on the surface of the slate and how it overlaps onto some of the fractured edges or the sides of the slate.

- A high resolution, 300 DPI photo yields the best results.
However, after years of making photo keepsakes I have learned
that many customers don’t have a “perfect” picture of their
loved one. This is why I spend time enhancing every photo that
is submitted and try to make even a less than ideal photo look
as good as possible on the finished slate. So if you don’t have a
300 DPI photo, rest assured that I will do my best to optimize
the photo so that it yields the best results possible on the slate.

I know how important these keepsakes are and I always strive to create something extra special that will honor the memory of
your loved one.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT SLATES -
The slates are a natural, hand cut material and shape, size, and coating may vary. Because of this possibility, the colors in a photo and/or design on one slate may look moderately different on another slate (so if ordering multiple slates they may not all look 100% alike). Slates may also have modest differences in the way the white coating on the surface of the stone appears. Because these stones are hand cut, the overall shape may not be a perfect rectangle, square or oval. Since slates could be moderately different in size and with fractured edges the end result may not or may not appear to have a perfectly centered design. Each slate begins as an imported natural stone blank and is then individually designed, handcrafted, and finished in our Palm Bay, Florida workshop.
