Worked perfectly! I've had this laptop since 2011 and been using it ever since till Windows finally crashed. My laptop has never run smoother and it's finally not heating up as much as before. Setup was super easy, instructions included were straightforward and simple. I used to boot Ubuntu live by CD years ago to fix dumb windows problems. So I was curious how far it's come. USB installation was easy better. However this time I straight up deleted everything on my disc and went forward with the installation. I figured if this didn't work then it's a hardware problem. Long live Linux! Long live my laptop! Thank you for putting this together. Now I just need to learn how to use it
I have used Windows in all its generations from 95 and have a 2012 DELL laptop which I also used for work designing databases. It would not pass the Win11 protocal. With Linux22 it was easy to setup and the laptop runs clean and fast. Switching from Windows apps to Linux was super easy. Even if you make setup mistakes you just reset to an earlier time. Take Charge of your computer and download free Linux!!!!! or buy a DVD or USB one!
I didn't even finish installing this Linux Mint before I received continuous trogan virus warning and that my MetcAfee is out of date, which wasn't ... didn't even install it on that laptop. I didn't even get to enjoy it for a little while. I installed Mint years ago and didn't have this problem, but never kept with it?
