About the author:
Josephine Hardiman is a professional artist and calligrapher, from Co. Kildare in Ireland. Upon finishing her education, Josephine began working as a teacher in her hometown of Newbridge. Since 1990, Josephine has worked as an art teacher and artist. Her works have been showcased in solo exhibitions and been presented to the last three Presidents of Ireland.
Josephine's artistic expression has led her to her life-work of The Book of Kildare, a beautiful body of artwork in Celtic Calligraphy and Illumination, records the Ancient Mythology of Ireland, the traditions and story of Brigid, as Goddess, Woman and Saint of Kildare, the wonderful rich Kildare Heritage, History, Archaeology and Landscape.
