STORY:
I wanted to make a bag. So... I made a bag.
In January of 2020, I set out to make my first enamel pin. From there, I fell in love with pins, and I began making more. And more. And then I had so many pins that I had to start an Etsy shop. Never in my dreams did I think I would end up being successful. I mean, I was just having fun and making art, right? This crafting of pins eventually branched out to crafting other things, but pins are where I started, and I could not think of any better way to enjoy them than to craft something else... something to display them in. I no longer have to poke holes in the straps of my purses and backpacks, I don't have to fear the pins falling off of my bags when I am out running errands, and most importantly, my pins won't be scratched up from bonking against things all day!

These Convertible Travelers Satchels are a shoulder/cross body, top handle carry or backpack. Each one comes with 3 straps to alternate between and an insert for enamel pins!
They are made of PU leather and fabric, and each set has the unique pattern printed on both inside and outside. There are two side pockets, one open pocket under the flap, a zip pocket on the back and a zip pocket inside.
The finished product will have metal feet, reinforced handles and a clasp to keep the pin insert from falling out.
All patterns are like the photos, but depending on where on the fabric it is cut you may have different sections of the picture! This gives every bag a slightly unique appearance from each other.
These satchels can fit a multitude of items. For my personal bag, I can fit a laptop in the divided section inside, my iPad pro, my coin pouch, keys, wallet, snacks, toiletries, a DM screen, pens, toddler cups, diapers and wipes and a load of other things that do not need to go into my satchel, but they fit into my satchel. If it fits, I... put it in there. If it gets heavy, I switch my straps out and convert it to a backpack. It has been perfect for work and school!
The front pocket of the satchel is a shimmery, clear vinyl that doesn't take away from the beauty of what you choose to display inside. The coin pouches have a pull strap with gold hardware to cinch the bag closed, and the snap folds over the top to secure your items inside. The ends of each string will have gold caps for decoration.
