-The cord that I use is made of 100% cotton. The best way to wash is in a sink filled with water add a small amount of dish soap. Scrub gently with fingers, rinse, and air dry in a ventilated area. -With Some keychains and accessories the cords can begin to Frey at and get a little fuzzy at the end. When this happens the best thing to do is trim the fuzzies off. You only need to take very little off the bottom. You can also get a wet paper towel and damp the ends, arrange how you like and let it air dry.
