I am de-stashing some of the unmounted insects that I don't think I'll use anytime soon. If you'd be interested in them for modeling, parts, or to try to mount yourself, here's your chance!

"Unmounted" means that they are coming straight from my supplier. They have not been opened by me, so I have not done anything to spread out their legs, wings, or other parts. They are very fragile, so open these little individual packages with great care.

This package includes five specimens of Mycteristes rhinophyllus from Indonesia. Their coloration is an interesting satiny/metallic bronze, with some color variation possible. Some are more gold/brown, while others are more coppery. One person described them as "tiny hairy gemstones" and that cracked me up!! They do look a but fuzzy. They measure just under an inch tall, but there is a bit of variation in size. A great deal! A quality.

1) The discount applies only to orders made up entirely of unmounted insects. Unmounted insects are any insects that I don't have to prepare for you, so it's pretty much everything in my shop except for prepared ("spread") butterflies and jewelry. Papered butterflies and even laminated butterflies are fine for the discount.
2) Insects sold as A Quality will be in that condition generally. However, due to the numbers of specimens involved these species won't be as carefully checked for quality and one may find occasional imperfections.
