Each End Grain Butcher Block Cutting Board Is Made To Order, By Hand, In My Northeastern Ohio Shop.

Starting with Rough Sawn Lumber, Locally and Responsibly Harvested, I Personally Process Each Board. Once Your Butcher Block is Built, I Personally Finish Every Surface By Hand to a Smooth Buttery Finish and Season Your Board Submerged in Food Grade Mineral Oil Bath for a Minimum of 24 Hours before Applying a Generous Coating of Butcher Block Conditioner to Ensure It's Ready to Use Right Out Of The Packaging.

**End Grain Butcher Blocks Come in 2 sizes for your convenience .. 1 ½" & 2" thick and are Finished with Hand Sanded Square Corners Unless Otherwise Specified**

To care for your Cutting Board you will periodically need to reapply cutting board oil. This should be done every week for the 1st several months. After that, a minimum of every 3-5 uses or whenever the surface starts to dull or mar.
**Special Note**
~ Cutting Boards are NOT Dishwasher Safe and should only be washed or rinsed by hand with a mild dish soap.
~ Do Not Submerge or Soak as this can lead to swelling, warping, and cracking.
~ After rinsing, be sure to dry in a way that allows air to flow evenly around the entire board to prevent warping, swelling, and cracking.
~ These boards, although beautiful, are not meant to be stored flat for any length of time on top of your countertop, oven, range, and etc. They should be stored standing on end to allow even airflow to surround the board.

We buy direct from Small Local Mills, Kiln Dry, Surface and Prepare every piece of wood by hand in our own shop to create one of a kind functional and artistic pieces. We are a true Small Local Business doing business with other Small Local Businesses in every way possible.
