How do I know what size hat to order?

We can custom make your leather hat based off of several different methods- 1. Simply measure the circumference of your head and leave a note in the comments box when ordering. This can be in either centimeters, millimeters or inches. 2. If you know your standard hat size leave in the comments when ordering 3. Use standard Alpha numeric sizing ( standard hat size 6 3/4 = small, 7- 7 1/8 = medium, 7 1/4- 7 3/8 = large, etc.) When in doubt, just give us the exact circumference in the comments- we actually prefer this as it is much more exact

Tooling is the carved and/or stamped pattern in your leather item we are making for you. This can be done with almost any image you would like. You provide the image and we can most likely put it on the leather.

Wow, what can be said, it was a massive decision to spend so much money without being present during the making of the hat but I was not disappointed. I gave Mike the measurements and the hat fits perfectly....a little tight to begin with but this is just what is required with a leather hat; so you wear it just for very short periods until it takes the form of your head, after about four hours it is almost perfect. My only comment would be that you need to be careful when using leather conditioner, I had some dye come off but this does not bother me at all, just something to be aware of. The finish is superb, nicely formed and stitched, beautiful lining, and unlike many available it has a proper internal head band, so, so important. I can't say enough; Oh watch out for the import duty...its a killer. Thank you Mike.

Great item-- hubby loved it. The only thing he said he'd change is that he would like it even better if it were made from thicker leather. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could....very pleased with the transaction. :)
