Blockbuster membership card made just like the original. Highest quality materials used for this super durable membership card. a perfect addition to your movie collection.

Did you know that each Blockbuster store did their own membership cards in house when you signed up. Each store had slightly different printers, toners, printer ribbons, and even technique to make the cards. This created a wide variety of cards issued. Below are my examples of the most common types of cards made.

1980's card: Address on the card is the original Blockbuster that opened in Dallas, TX
Phone number on card (goes to the original location) but is now an Applebee's, lol
Membership number is π with working, matching barcode. The font is a dot matrix style font.

1990's card: Address, and phone number are that of the Los Angeles Blockbuster store that was used by Kurt Cobain. also on the card is the issue date is the same as the same day that he died. His original membership number is also on the card with a matching and working barcode, and the name on the card is the generic " Gold Status Member". The font is more of a typewriter style font. see the original card that went up for auction here : https://www.juliensauctions.com/en/items/31861/kurt-cobain-blockbuster-card

Y2k's card: Address and phone number is from the New York, New York Blockbuster store that Brittney Murphy did a MTV's "You had to be there" episode that was filmed sometime between 06/18/2002 and 06/24/2002 according to the new releases seen in the video, and the issue date is from that week. The membership number is what I would think her number would be correct to the store number, and the last 5 digits as a remembrance of when she died on 12/20/2009 with the matching and working barcode. The name on the card is the generic " Gold Status Member". The font is more of a typewriter style font. with the 1998 revision of adding the blockbuster website to the front of the card. See the video of Brittney Murphy here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpTTrP-srRM
