All Esquirlas item are made in Sterling Silver. Sterling silver is a standard silver alloy with very high percentage of silver. This means that the piece will maintain it's color and shine for a very long time. Although it is only natural for silver to tarnish with time. To retard this process, always keep your piece away from acid liquids or alcohol items like perfum. Store your piece carefully in clear plastic tight bags or in its original packaging, in order to avoid rubbing with other pieces and exposure to air, dust and humidity.
To eliminate silver tarnish pieces you should use a silver cleaning product, but you can also gently use toothpaste and a clean brush.
