Materials: silver plated brass, glass insert

Stunning Wm A Rogers silver plated butter dish with gold scallop shells.
The bottom tray has a wide ten sided rim accented with five gold plated scallop shells.
The domed lid has an ornate handle.
The original glass insert sits deep in the dish ideal for serving butter, cheese or bonbons.
A rare and gorgeous serving piece with a coastal beach house vibe.
"Wm. A. Rogers Made in Canada, S. P. Brass" is marked on bottom.

• measures 7 1/4" in diameter x about 3" high including lid handle (18.5 x 7.5cm), glass insert is 4" in diameter x 7/8" high and 1/2" deep (10 x 2.3 and 1.3cm)
• in gorgeous vintage condition with very little wear, minor surface scratches on dome, no cracks or chips to glass insert
