Surprisingly, this last-minute addition to my shopping cart turned out to be my favorite piece. This one is an architectural wonder: the batwing style sleeves is subtle, but very comfortable without looking poofy. The color is difficult to capture--grayish with taupe undertones, but with a slight shimmer under light. The underside (reversible) is a darker gray, almost black--but a more pronounced sheen. Both sides have a crackle texture resembles tonally glazed pottery. I love the contrast button closure--it uses a handmade technique rarely seen nowadays. The jacket looks nice at a distance, but much more amazing under close inspection. It works well over a plain tshirt or housedress...but would look elegant topping a fancy outfit.
