While it's preferable to have quilts dry-cleaned, my quilts can be washed on cold, delicate cycle.

The size listed in the items’ descriptions is the quilt that I have on hand and will be sent out within 3 business days from purchase. All other quilts are made to order, which is why it takes me one-to-two weeks to piece, quilt, and get them to you. I will let you know when your item is on the way! If you'd like to order a quilt in different colors/sizes, etc., just message me the name of the quilt you’re considering, colors you’d like to use, and size that you would like. I don’t charge extra for any of this, so feel free to contact me! What is long arm quilting and why should I choose it?

A long arm machine uses a computerized arm that allows the quilter to make uniform, stable stitches with intricate designs. Most people do not have access to this special machinery. I do. That is why my quilts are uniform in pattern, stable for the batting, and quilted at least every 2 inches. If you are considering a quilt to purchase, ask the seller if the quilt that you’re considering is long arm quilted. All of mine are and are built to last. I include close-up pictures of this quilting on each quilt’s listing.

What is batting? What do you use? Why does it matter?

Batting is the material that is placed in the middle of your quilt; it’s the part that makes a quilt fluffy. I only use 100% Pure and Natural cotton batting. This batting is warmer and woven to add longevity to your quilt’s life. It is more expensive, but higher quality comes with that price tag. If you are considering a quilt to purchase, make sure that you find out what kind of batting that quilter uses. If the quilter says “high loft” or “medium loft,” it is describing how fluffy that batting is. It may sound fancy but most of it is cheap, is not woven as tightly as quilt shop quality cotton batting, and it will bunch up in your quilt over time.
