This sewing set is precious. It's called Little Travelers Sewing Kit, and includes everything you see. There is a cute little plastic doll mannequin, as well as a plastic thimble, buttons and vintage cloth. The instructions for sewing are glued onto the inside of the box top. The box has a metal handle to carry it with, and is hinged to open up and show the contents.

It is not perfect. Box shows wear but is completely functional. There is tape along some of the edges and by the handle. Most of the clothing has been made by a previous owner, and the cloth is basically remnants. Contents, as noted, have been sewn by what looks like a child. Colors are bright, however, and is a cute look into how girls may have started to sew back in the fifties (estimated date).

This kit would make an adorable addition to your sewing room. Put it on a shelf to display it and it would be a great conversation piece.
