Hand knitted items come in all different shapes and sizes according to what pattern has been used and the type of wool etc. The sizes on my cardigans are just guidelines, because all babies are different shapes and sizes too. If you’d like to know specific measurements of an item please message me. That way you could measure it against an item you already have to see how it would fit. If in doubt please size up because too big is better than too small.

It is recommended that hand knitted items are washed on a cool wash, and then laid flat to dry.

I want to create the perfect item for you so please don’t be shy if you want to be fussy or specific about the item I am making or personalising for you. I always say, if you don’t ask you don’t get :)

Gift wrapping and packaging

If you need me to include a personal handwritten note to the recipient I am more than happy to. Please just send me a message with your order. Most of my items arrive wrapped in white tissue paper. The delivery bags I use are recycled and recyclable.

Having a winter or outdoor wedding? Have you thought about how to stay warm in your dress? A personalised cardigan is the answer for you.

If you already have the cardigan, you can send it to me and I will hand embroider the name or words of your choice onto the back of it in any colour wool. I'm happy to send photos of different wool colours I have, before or after purchase.

It could say for example; Mrs, Mrs Smith, Smith, Bride, or even a nickname. A popular example is for it to say Just Married. They are also a lovely gift for a bride to be on her hen do, where it could say for example; Bride or Bride to be.

Once you make the purchase I will be in contact via Etsy to let you know where to send your cardigan to.

Please note that the cost of posting the item to me initially is not included in the fee.

One last thing. If you wanted something extra I can also do shapes such as hearts (see photos) - if you want to add this on please select the number of words plus one shape.

I can also arrange for crochet appliqué embellishments to be stitched on as well for an additional charge. For example; more intricate hearts, flowers or even a crocheted bride and groom. The possibilities are endless.

I also do kids cardigans if you wanted an option for any little flower girls or page boys.
