Shawn has done an amazing job on the workmanship of this trug, definitely a quality piece! The wood is smooth and the walnut stain brings out it's character. Shipping was fast, with no hiccups!

Seller's description

Specifications

Built 100% by this husband and wife team on our homestead in Georgia.
We both have a background in wood working so this basket is well built and will last for years! Plus, this ships for free in the US!
Our harvest basket has a folding handle to allow you to fill it to the brim with your home grown vegetables and the wire mesh allows you to rinse them off right in the basket! The handle moves easily and they are lightweight even once filled.
The bottom of the basket is reinforced with 2 feet that stretch the full length of the basket and a large steel anchor to avoid the chance of anything falling out.
We offer stain or linseed oil for a little extra cost.
Our baskets are 17.5 inches long, 11 inches wide and 8 inches tall with the handle folded down. Plenty of space for a full harvest to be carried. The inside basket size is 14.5x8x5.5.
All of our hardware is zinc with a special style nut so it will not loosen as the handle is used. The hardware cloth is made of galvanized steel.
After washing your vegetable in the basket, we suggest you store the basket in a dry place.
* Please note that this listing is for one basket*
If you are choosing stain or oil rubbed please allow 48 hours extra to allow dry time.
The green one in the photos was a custom one that someone painted. We do not offer this option since it causes the handle to stick but wanted to show what you can do to customize your trug.
