• Stunning asymmetric top hat from wool felt, stiffened and hand blocked over millinery wooden hat blocks. It is my signature design and any attempt to copy it will be denounced. This listing is for black asymmetric top hat matching, vintage style with veil. If you are interested on any other color, please, let me know ;-)

• ENTIRELY HAND SEWN. It is an artisan product, completely handmade, none of the pieces I make is absolutely identical to another. Made to order. I personally design and handcraft each headpiece with care and great attention to detail. I do not have all these hats in stock, they are made one by one, according to the size and color chosen by each one of my customers. Elements to pay attention to: the accentuated curvature of the brim, wider top of the crown and the exquisite sewing of the ribbon on the edge of the brim: completely by hand with invisible (blind) stitch, I have not yet come across another shop on Etsy that offers a similar finish of the brim or the original spiral element of the inner lining.

• Crown height: 14 cm the highest part and 8 cm the lower part. Brim width 6,5 cm, entire brim proportions: 30 x 26 cm. For sizes from 61 cm up, the brim dimensions are 34 x 31 cm.The brim´s edge is wired to keep the shape and then covered with thin grosgrain ribbon, entirely hand stitched, you will not see machine stitching in my works. The hat is finished with a grosgrain band inside and beautiful and luxurious silky lining.

• Measure the circumference of your head horizontally just above your eyebrows. Please, do not tighten the tape too much and between two sizes, choose the larger one. The measurements I offer are indicative, if you know your exact measurement, please leave a note when placing the order and I will use it to create your hat with your exact size. Let me know if you have any doubts regarding the size you have to choose.

• Can be made it in a variety of different colors. Note: Colors will vary depending on your monitor and there will also be some variations due to dye lots. As you can see, I offer a wide range of colors, but if you need a very special shade to match the rest of your outfit, first consult with me and I will send you photos with natural light to be sure that the shades match.

• Care instructions: Gently brushing with a soft brush, like the one used on suede shoes and bags, helps to remove dust and revive the fiber. Lint remover can also be used. For dark colors it is good to go over them with a damp cloth.

• Processing times may vary depending on the amount of previous orders that have been placed. I update it often and you can see the estimated delivery date below. I don't have all these hats in stock, I make them one by one, with the size and color that each customer has chosen, completely handmade! It is really very laborious work, so if you need your order by a certain date that is very recent, before placing the order, contact me, please, so that I can confirm if the deadlines of elaboration and shipment of the hat are adjustable to the date that you need it. On some occasions I can place express orders, but this is not always feasible, I cannot handicap customers who have placed their order before yours, sorry! Also, if I don't ship the previously purchased hats by the date scheduled by Etsy, the platform will penalize me.

• Shipping is always by registered mail with tracking number. The day your order is shipped, you will receive an email from Etsy with the tracking number, but you can always check it quickly through your Etsy profile, in the drop-down menu in the PURCHASES section.

Europe: 3-5 business days
USA: 7-12 business days
Canada, Australia: 2-3 weeks

• For some strange and inexplicable reason, in some countries, such as Australia or Canada, state postal services do not always update the tracking number when the shipment enters the territory of this country... it is very frustrating for all Etsy sellers. Normally the shipping time is around 14-20 days, if after 20 days you have not received the package and they have not left you a note to pick it up from your local USPS office, please go and check the status of the shipment. Most likely it won't be reachable with the tracking number, but by providing your address, they have to find it. If the package is not picked up within 14 days of its arrival, it will be returned to me.

• Your order is sent in a box made of the hardest cardboard possible, also the shipping method I have chosen is for packages only up to 3 kilos, so it is practically impossible for you to receive it deformed, even so, in the very unlikely case if this happens, PLEASE DO NOT PICK UP THE PACKAGE! If you can, send me a picture of the state you've seen it in, but don't pick it up and it will be returned to me at no charge to you! I'll send you a new hat.
If the hat you purchasing is for a very special occasion or for a gift and it needs to be delivered in a package that is just as spectacular as the piece itself, let me know and I will send it in a black and white striped box, but the price of the shipping will increase considerably, since the millinery boxes are not hard enough and I have to put it inside a cardboard box so that you receive it without deforming.


• Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
